I’ve been occupying myself this morning looking up words in the dictionary. Because I’m a giver, I’d like to share with you my favorite word today.

gimcrack (adjective): flimsy or poorly made but deceptively attractive

There’s a noun version too!

“a cheap and showy ornament; a knickknack”

But for what reason might one ever use this word? Here’s one, complete with a photo illustration!
